My career began in journalism, where I covered crime, courts, and community stories for the Mountain Democrat, California’s oldest newspaper. As a reporter, I honed my ability to find the human element in every story, transforming complex legal proceedings and community events into engaging, informative pieces. My editorial leadership roles at The State Hornet further developed my skills in content planning, collaboration, and audience engagement.

Transitioning into digital content strategy, I leveraged my journalism background to produce high-quality, research-driven content across industries. At VELOX Media and Page One Power, I developed and pitched content strategies tailored to diverse clients, ensuring their messaging aligned with audience needs while driving measurable results. My expertise in SEO has allowed me to write and optimize content for brands ranging from financial services to healthcare, baby products, and enterprise technology.
Fiscal Tiger
One of my most significant projects was helping to launch FiscalTiger.com, a financial literacy website dedicated to making complex financial topics more accessible. Over the course of writing more than 400 articles, I developed a deep understanding of financial education, breaking down intricate concepts into actionable, easy-to-understand insights for readers. Unfortunately, many articles were rewritten for SEO experimentation, the original point of the website, and many of the writers who started the site have been scrubbed as much as possible, including author pages. The best way to find my articles is through a Google search.
